The White Palm Boutique started with a lifelong love of fashion, a van I sold, and a new chapter with my daughter.
My love for fashion goes all the way back to high school, where my classmates voted me Best Dressed my senior year. And when my daughter was little, I absolutely loved dressing her in the cutest outfits with big bows in her hair. Fashion has always been a part of who I am.
Throughout my career, I’ve always loved sales and working with people. I spent years in educational sales, selling textbooks throughout North and South Carolina. I also worked as an administrator and have always been very involved in my community.
But life has a way of taking us down roads we never expected.
After more than 30 years of marriage, my husband and I separated, and I found myself navigating a difficult divorce. During that time, he suffered a stroke, and our family came together to help care for him. Everything else was put on hold.
Then my daughter came home from college, looking for her next chapter, too.
And somewhere in the middle of all those changes, we decided to take a chance on something we both loved.
I sold a van, and with approximately $11,000, we began building The White Palm Boutique.
This boutique is about more than clothes. It’s about new beginnings, following your dreams, and creating something special together as a mother and daughter.
Our goal is to bring you beautiful, fun, fashionable pieces that make you feel confident and put together without trying too hard.
We’ll be introducing two thoughtfully selected collections each month, and we hope you’ll find pieces you love, pieces that work with what you already own, and pieces that make getting dressed something to look forward to.
